A Night at the Pine Tree Lodge

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Pine Tree Lodge on Tuesday night. Though it is a trek out to the "East Coast" of Manhattan, we basically had the bar to ourselves which was awesome!

Here's a recap from the night, including some great photos by Ada Alef (ada.alef@gmail.com).

After a long day of work and gray skies, people were welcomed by the cozy atmosphere of the Pine Tree Lodge (which, we'd argue is the closest thing you'll get to a real mountain lodge in the middle of NYC):

The shmoozing begins around dark wooden tables, beneath moose heads and next to "vinatage" bookshelves:

We headed to our private back room or "Home Sweet Home" to chat, mingle, and get 1/2 off beer. Yes, those are old school skies flanking the entrance (is there any other way?)

Settling in - everyone is enjoying the half off drink specials:

Everyone's having fun... including photo bomber Ethan M.

Empty drinks on the table. We think that's a good sign:

Thumbs up from Al and guest appearance by filmmaker Ben Gross (check out his work below)

Or check out Bens' video right here and make sure to donate to the campaign (and win awesome prizes) here.

For 10 days, OutdoorFest will bring outdoor adventure to NYC's 5 boroughs with kayaking, surfing, biking, trail running, climbing & more.

Thanks again to everyone who came out on Tuesday night - it was a blast!
