This local waterfront hiking trail provides a great taste of nature far from crowds but without leaving the Bronx. We will meet at Bartow Pell Mansion (895 Shore Road, Bronx. #6 train to Pelham Bay, #45 Beeline to Bartow-Pell) and will cut back overgrowth and invasive plants, clear blown down branches, address muddy areas and renew blazes. No experience necessary, AMC supplies tools. Head to City Island for refreshments following the work day.
