The Brown Bike Girl's Black Bike History Movie Night at Red Lantern Bicycles
On Thursday, February 23rd, at 7:00pm, join The Brown Bike Girl at Red Lantern Bicycles to hear all about all-Black 25th infantry Bicycle Corps and their contribution to military history, play games (with prizes!), and enjoy an all night long happy hour.
The Brown Bike Girl is a bicycle advocacy consulting firm that wishes to provide ideas for individuals and companies that work to promote cycling access and adoption in communities of color. Founder, Courtney Williams, is an urban planner, experienced rider, and former organizer for a major women of color’s cycling group.
When we asked her about the event she said, “Aside from presenting some very little known history, the idea is that it'll be a little campy like 5th grade movie day with games based on the documentary and all.”
