Summer: Post Labor Day
Labor Day might be over but summer is still going strong over here in New York with warm temperatures and lots of daylight for us to use to explore. Here are some suggestions for ways for you to get outdoors doing your favorite summertime sports before the season changes.
---ADVENTURE IN THE FIVE BOROUGHS---
GO SURFING
Hit the beach! The surf report for this weekend is looking good and NYC Parks has extended the beach season to include this weekend.
Urban camping at it's best - just hop on a bus and head to Floyd Bennett Field for an easy "getaway" that's actually within the boundaries of the boroughs!
There are dozens of boathouses in New York City all with unique offerings (and various price points) to get you on the water.
----GET OUTSIDE THE CITY----
Camping is fun, but what about hanging out in a yurt in the middle of the Adirondacks?

Metro North and NJ Transit will take you to dozens of trail heads in the tri-state area for awesome views, trails and fresh air.
